Gathering of the tribe

 This weekend somewhere on the coast of South Carolina the tribe gathered.

  I can't remember the last time we were all together. Work and life has a way of getting in the way.

 We were there to celebrate a union of two people and wish them well on their new journey through life together.

 Greetings followed with catching up, then spirits were poured, stories followed and good times ensued.

 It's been a long time since I laughed that much. It was awesome to see everyone and catch up.

Remember friends, life is short. Always make time for real friends and family. They are what truly matters in life.  

South Florida.

Since I was going to be in Daytona. It would be a good time to head another 240 miles south and take care of some business and see some friends.

You can't beat accommodations like this. Fridge full of booze, couch to sleep on, pool table, tv, music, and a pisser out back (tree).

Marley the 100lb plus yellow lab and expert lizard hunter. Marley loves to jump in the pool, walk through the nearest sand, then jump on you for some scratching.

Watch your white shirts.

I was blown away when Bill and Pat showed up. It has been about 5 years since the three of us have been together.

The weather at night was just cool enough for a fire.

We stayed up till 3am catching up.

Marley couldn't take it and crashed out on my bed.

Dr. Zoidburg is now 2 and getting huge!!!

Sorry I couldn't see everyone. I needed to get back for work.

Unfortunately, the work offer was a bust and I should have stayed a few more days.

Bike Week Stop #2

Left Willie's about 1pm. I headed down to Port Orange to see the Canadians John and Nancy.

I spent the rest of the day catching up with them and eating lunch and dinner with them.

It was after 11pm by the time I hit the road to head south.

John's Sportster. He's had it since it was new and it is a trip.

Nancy had hit a Cadalliac the day before . Since she bent her springer they had loaded it up by the time I got there. It was good the see them.

To celebrate his BIG 1-0 B-Day, Jake chartered a boat to

take he and his buddies fishing.

Jake and Zack with the Dolphin they caught for dinner.

I'll have mine blackened with a squeeze of lemon.

Don't let his age fool you. I've been fishing with this young man several times.

He's a serious fisherman and is growing up to be a real young man.

Spent some time in Charlotte.

The International Motorcycle Show was in town.

Ian, Jimmy, Mike, and THE EDGE! were gonna be there, so I accepted the

invite to join them. Dinner cooked by Mikes wife Karel was also promised.

I can't say no to that. EVER!!!

Lots of laughs and a good time!

I really needed that. I had just come from a service/wake that morning.

My neighbor lost her year and a half battle with cancer that week.

Rene Ritchie was 45 R.I.P.

I don't know why but it was fucking with my head.

Laughing with friends helps more than anything else.

Thanks guys! I really needed it.

It's official. They are pulling up the steaks and heading south to Florida.

The last few years has been hard on everyone here in NC, but with a new business

opportunity waiting for Bill in Florida, they figured it was time for a new start.

It will be in the new year sometime.

They have a TON of stuff to give away, throw out, and sell before heading out.

Your friends are here for you guys should you need anything.

We'll miss you.

Just keep some PBR and Diet MD in the fridge.

Parking for bikes would be a good idea too.
