WW II VET SPEAKS.

I got an invite to go hear a WWII speak last night at the local Lions Club meeting.
He was attached to the Jolly Rogers Squadron in the Pacific Theater.
He went over some history of WWII, how he enlisted, were he was stationed,
war stories, and more.

Jolly Rogers insignia on the tail.

There aren't many WWII vets around these days. If you get the chance to talk to one,
I suggest you do. The stories are great and need to be passed down to the younger generation.
"Thanks" goes out to the Lion's Club in Concord, Lynn and Mike for the invite
and to the Turret Gunner Bob Aldous for your service and stories.
